Unit IV: 20th Century China
Our final unit in Chinese History will begin with the fall of the Qing Dynasty in 1912 and cover the turbulent years of struggle between the Nationalists and the Communists, the Japanese occupation during WWII and the civil war that followed, the early years of Communist rule, up to the modern day where we'll briefly examine China's economic growth since the end of the Cultural Revolution.
